Team Harvest Festival & Awards Night

Every harvest season we close the offices for an evening to celebrate the people who make it possible. This year’s festival featured produce grown in our own demonstration greenhouse, served to the team and their families.

Awards recognised the engineers, agronomists, and support staff whose dedication turned ambitious projects into living facilities.

The evening began with a tour of the demonstration greenhouse, where families saw firsthand the tomatoes, greens, and herbs that would shortly appear on their plates. Children pressed their faces to the glass while engineers explained, in the simplest terms they could manage, how it all worked.

Awards followed - some serious, some affectionately not - recognising the long nights, the field rescues, and the quiet persistence that rarely makes it into a project report. More than one acceptance speech ended in laughter.

It is a tradition the company guards carefully. However busy the year, the harvest festival is the one evening when the work pauses and the people behind it take center stage.
