Joint Research Lab Opens with State University

We joined forces with a leading state university to open a shared research laboratory dedicated to controlled-environment agriculture. Students and our agronomists now work side by side on real production challenges.

The partnership pairs academic rigour with field-tested engineering.

The shared laboratory was designed from the start to blur the line between classroom and field. Students do not merely observe; they run real production trials, troubleshoot real failures, and see their findings feed straight back into working installations.

For the faculty, the partnership opened access to commercial-grade equipment and live datasets that few academic labs can match. For our agronomists, it brought fresh questions and the kind of rigorous, unhurried inquiry that day-to-day operations rarely allow.

Within its first months the lab had already produced two papers and, more importantly, a cohort of graduates fluent in the realities of controlled-environment agriculture.
