Against the salt air of the coast, our hydroponic facility delivered its first full harvest of leafy greens. The closed-loop system shields crops from coastal humidity and unpredictable monsoon swings.

A local cooperative now supplies fresh produce to markets that once relied entirely on imports.

Coastal growing has always been a fight against the elements - salt, humidity, and monsoon swings that can undo a season overnight. The closed-loop hydroponic design takes that fight indoors, giving crops a stable, sheltered climate while the weather does as it pleases outside.

The first harvest exceeded what the cooperative had dared to hope for, both in volume and in quality. Produce that once arrived wilted from distant suppliers now travels minutes, not days, to local markets.

For the cooperative’s members, many of them first-time growers, the facility is more than infrastructure - it is a measure of independence they had not had before.cxvcxvcx
